Phase 3 Connectors Ltd. are a privately-owned British manufacturer of industrial power plugs and devices for industries such as: Power Generation, Events, Military, & more. We are the creator of the renowned ‘Powersafe’ and ‘Showsafe’ brands from our headquarters in Merseyside, England and factory in Fife, Scotland.

History of Phase 3

The company was incorporated in 2001 by the original Litton VEAM management team, who developed the Powersafe connector having enhanced their original Powerlock designs to improve ratings, performance and safety. The current owners purchased the business in 2015 and have since grown Phase 3 into the global entity it is today. At Phase 3 we pride ourselves in delivering industry leading products and service.

What are power devices?

Power devices are the plugs and connectors for connecting an electrical device and a power source. Plugs carry either AC (alternating current) or DC (direct current).

AC connections allow a device to be connected directly to an electrical supply. DC plugs come in standard sizes and are not interchangeable for safety reasons.

Circular Devices

Phase 3’s Showsafe circular plug devices are fully compatible with Socapex for event industry use. Our UL approved mutli-pin lighting circular connectors have been developed to offer the highest levels of reliability and safety. Phase 3’s super robust construction of the 19 pin circular socapex electrical device ensures continual and reliable operation.

Powerlock Devices

Powerlock type devices are mechanically keyed and identified by wiring colour coding standards and are therefore considered the safest industry device. 

High-current single-pole and three-phase plugs and sockets are available within the range for AC/DC circuits.
